Thomas Brown & Samuel Hardiman in the parish of Wrexham on 16 March 1785 burglariously entered the dwelling house of Mary Morgan and stole therefrom a small cupboard (value 6d); 2 gold guineas; 7 gold half guineas; 2 crowns; 1 dollar (value 4/6) and 72 half pence; 2 pieces of bacon (value 10/-); 3 loaves (value 1/-); 1 piece of cheese (value 2/-); half a pound of snuff (value 1/-); a blue woollen cloth cloak (value 4/-); a red woollen cloth cloak (value 4/-); 1.5 yards of striped linen (value 2d); a check apron
(value 6d); a cotton window curtain (value 6d) and a tub of salt butter (value 20/-) (WALES 4/61/1). Ordered for execution at usual place on Monday 25 April (WALES 14/4). Executed yesterday: Adams Weekly Chester Courant Tuesday 26 April. Shrewsbury Chronicle Saturday 30 April also reports the execution.
